In Uttar Pradesh, the idol of Lord Shri Ram will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on a suitable date between 15th to 24th January 2024.
General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Champat Rai said the construction of the ground floor of the Ram Temple would be completed by October this year and the finishing touches would be over by December. He was talking to media persons in Bhadohi district yesterday.
Mr. Rai added that the idol of Lord Ram to be installed in the sanctum sanctorum would be of his Baal Swaroop i.e. Ram as a 5-year-old child. He further said Ram Darbar would be installed on the first floor of the temple.
On the question of the details about the second floor of the temple, Mr. Rai said no decision has been taken till date to install any idol on the second floor. The temple is being constructed in such a manner that there is no need for any repair for the next thousand years.
