I am a fan of Modi & excited to invest in India, Elon Musk says after meeting PM Modi

Elon Musk, CEO of electric car maker Tesla, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York on Wednesday. On this occasion, Musk said that he is a fan of Modi and is very excited about investing in India. India has more possibilities than any other country in the world. He said that he may visit India next year.

The world’s richest man said it was a wonderful meeting with PM Modi. The Tesla chief said that India has immense potential in the solar energy sector. He said he is incredibly excited about the future of India. He said, Modi cares a lot for India, and I can say that his approach is very liberal regarding new companies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day US tour. After meeting Elon Musk, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, “We had a multi-faceted conversation on issues ranging from energy to spirituality.”

On the first day of his three-day visit, Modi also met Nobel laureates, CEOs, economists, entrepreneurs, scholars, artists, academicians, and health sector experts in New York.

With the health experts, he discussed various matters pertaining to the domain of health including the use of digital technologies for quality healthcare, greater focus on integrative medicine and better healthcare preparedness.

In the process, Modi met Nobel laureate Prof Paul Romer, who is an American economist and policy entrepreneur. Both held discussions on India’s digital journey including the use of Aadhar and innovative tools like Digilocker.

PM Modi also met a group of eminent US academics hailing from diverse fields of agriculture, marketing, engineering, health, science & technology. They discussed possibilities of enhancing research collaborations and two-way academic exchanges under India’s New Education Policy.

Modi also met experts from several leading US think-tanks and discussed a range of developmental and geo-political issues. He invited them to enhance their presence in India as it embarks on its transformation during the Amritkaal.
