Disobedience of the order of the Hon’ble High Court: First incident in the history of universities
Suspension of Prof. L. Karunyakara for illegal occupation of the Vice Chancellor’s chair
The Bombay High Court of had cancelled the appointment of Dr. Bhimrai Metri, former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha and ordered the Ministry of Education to appoint a new Vice Chancellor as per the rules of the university. But Professor L. Karunyakara went to the Vice Chancellor’s office without any order and illegally sat on the Vice Chancellor’s chair on 31st March.
Although a senior professor of the university should not have done this, but he did such an act. On receiving the information, Registrar Dr. Dharvesh Katheria asked Professor L. Karunyakara, who was illegally sitting on the Vice Chancellor’s chair, to show a copy of the order, to which he replied that we do not need any order because I myself am the Vice Chancellor. After that Professor Karunyakara also issued several office orders in a hurry.
In which he ordered the suspension of Registrar Dr. Dharvesh Katheria and cancelled the EC meeting called by the Ministry of Education. Professor Karunyakara did not stop here but appointed Dr. Amarendra Kumar Sharma as the Registrar. Let us tell you that this is the same Dr. Amarendra Kumar Sharma who calls himself the President of the Teachers’ Union which has been declared fake by the University.
Seeing all this indiscipline, the Ministry was forced to take action against Professor L. Karunyakara because till date in the history of any university, such an incident has never happened that someone illegally occupies the chair of the Vice Chancellor, this is a very condemnable act. In such a situation, action is bound to be taken.
By the way, Professor L. Karunyakara has had a long association with such incidents. This incident is of 16 August 2018, at that time Professor L. Karunyakara was the Vice Chancellor. Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had passed away, at his condolence meeting organized at that time, he came into the news for making indecent remarks on the Prime Minister, after which he apologized in writing under the pressure of many national and regional organizations.
After that, when he once again got the charge of Vice Chancellor after the departure of Vice Chancellor Rajneesh Shukla, he ran the university arbitrarily. Let us introduce you to some such incidents. •
A case of indecent remarks directly on Dr. Dharvesh Katheria through social media by starting factionalism among the teachers of the university. When Dr. Katheria complained about this, no action was taken. This comment was not just on any teacher Dr. Dharvesh Katheria but on the President of the Teachers’ Union Dr. Dharvesh Katheria. No action was taken despite the complaint.
• Getting the names of the teachers to be awarded the Utkrishta Shikshak Puraskar Committee nominated by Professor Kripashankar Chaubey, who is under investigation for several allegations. When Dr. Dharvesh Katheria, as the President of the Teachers’ Association, raised questions on this, Assistant Professor of the University Dr. Surjeet Kumar Singh made an indecent comment in his name on Facebook. No action was taken in that matter, rather protection was provided.
• Despite receiving information about the opposition to the NIA in the course of anti-national activities by some students in the University, no action was taken against the anti-national students, rather protection was provided to them.Professor L. Karunyakara, who did many such things, had illegally occupied the Vice Chancellor’s chair by disregarding the Hon’ble High Court. Professor L. Karunyakara did not stop here, he also went to the Supreme Court where the Hon’ble Supreme Court rejected his appeal and sent it back.
After that, the Ministry and EC sent a notice to Professor L. Karunyakara to investigate his faults. suspend Karunyakara The university administration is constantly working for the welfare and upliftment of the university. Therefore, a beautiful environment for study and teaching is being created in the university, there is an atmosphere of happiness, otherwise there is no peace in such a big university.
The biggest skill of the President of the Teachers’ Union and Registrar Dr. Dharvesh Katheria is that he is giving priority to the work of the students in his work.
